DESCRIPTION

The "GE Men", consisting of fellow salseros Gary and Edison, present this classic salsa social held in a big comfortable space with the capacity for several hundred people.  There's room for plenty of dancers plus tables and chairs surrounding the dance floor for relaxing and socializing.  They have created this event to appeal to the pure On 2 salsa lovers, so they can have an uptown venue to dance in and hang out with other salseros.  The crowd is nicely diverse in terms of age, their dance background, where they live, how long they've been on our NY salsa scene, but they all have one thing in common:  they love mambo dancing.

Gary and Edison also do SOS - Salsa On Sunday Downtown @ Dardo Galletto Studio, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

The "GE Men" have both been on the scene for quite a while and attend the events of several different On 2 studios, and their goal is to bring everyone together for a great night of dancing.  On some nights, they'll be offering a salsa class by a guest instructor and usually a performance by a local mambo team, all this to attract dancers from all over.
