Claudine Curry, director of the
Mambo2ChaCha Dance
Company and the former Curvas Peligrosas Dance Team, and a performer in the
dance team "DulceBembe".
These special salsa dance parties are done a few times a year here in our New York mambo community and they
are very well attended and a lot of fun. The
party will be held in the main ballroom at
Stepping Out Studios, a very large studio
with an excellent professional wooden dance floor that is "medium speed".
There will be dance performances
and they are listed on our main Calendar. There
will be lots of excellent classic salsa and cha cha music by the DJ. In
addition to the shows, great dance music and complementary snacks and
wine, the reasonable admission price also usually includes a raffle ticket
to win fun prizes which will be in keeping with the theme. All
information about the performers and other attractions at the event will
be posted here and on our
Main Calendar
as the date of each event approaches.

The dress code is "casual but nice", so dress up a bit in a colorful way. If
you want to you, you can dress in an outfit that matches the night's theme, or you can come
dressed comfortably any way you like just to dance.
