generally "medium speed". However, when the weather and the dancing
get really hot, the floor can become a bit slower, so you may want to wear

The salseros putting on this event, DJ Antonio "La Conga" and instructor / performer
Joel Dominguez, are both members of
our local mambo community. DJ Antonio "La Conga" is a
local DJ specializing in the classic salsa music, even collecting songs that
are only available on original vinyl records. And
Joel Dominguez is a
popular local dancer who teaches and performs as well.
They invite all the dancers to come and enjoy this classic salsa social
where the emphasis is on the pure music and dancing that we all love.
The event is held in a very large dance studio ballroom with an excellent wooden dance
floor and a professional sound system. This event has become one of
the most consistently popular socials in the NYC On 2 community.
