This is a popular classic mambo
social held in a very large dance studio, with "medium speed" wooden floor. It is well
attended by On 2 dancers and there is plenty of seating plus refreshments
available for purchase.

DESCRIPTION |
Since his
start,
DJ El Maestro
has quickly risen in popularity among New York salseros, DJing in local
venues such as Mambo Fateegz, the Jimmy Anton Social, Club Cache, Club
Iguana, the Santo Rico Social, Rumbamba Saturdays, the Brooklyn Salsa
Congress in 2009 and 2010, the 10th Annual New York Salsa Congress, the
Big Apple Salsa Festival and outside of NY in major venues like the
Houston Salsa Congress, Connecticut Salsa Fest, the Peru Salsa Congress.
This Salsa Union event is held in a very
large professional ballroom dance studio with plenty of room for dancing
and socializing. All the mambo dancers are invited. There is
photo and video coverage by Chomio.

The event is being held at the
Stepping Out Studios, 37 West 26th Street (between Broadway and 6th Avenue/aka
Avenue of the Americas). For exact

Closest subway stations are the 23rd or 28th Street Stations on the N, R
or W lines, and also the 23rd Street Station on the F or V lines. It
is usually fairly easy to park within a few blocks if you drive around a
few minutes. But read the parking signs
very carefully. Some streets have Night Parking
Restrictions.
